For 16 years, Magdalene Hope has been a lifeline for women victimized by human trafficking and exploitation in Kern County. They provide compassionate outreach and support, recognizing the deep physical, emotional, and psychological harm many have endured. Through survivor-centered care and community connection, Magdalene Hope works to ensure individuals feel seen, valued, and supported as they pursue a path to safety, healing, and long-term restoration.

At the Bakersfield Women's Center, Magdalen Hope meets these women's immediate needs, such as a warm meal, a fresh change of clothes and shoes, and a safe place to rest, guiding them toward the first step of reclaiming their lives.
