For 16 years, Magdalene Hope has been a lifeline for women victimized by human trafficking and exploitation in Kern County. At the Bakersfield Women's Center, they help survivors take the first step toward reclaiming their lives by meeting immediate needs, such as a warm meal, a fresh change of clothes and shoes, and a safe place to rest. Today, however, they are outgrowing the space!
